Blue moon

They’ve said there was a blue moon on 31. July.

Do you know what a blue moon is?
There are two definitions of a blue moon, the first one is the old one and the second one was a mistake made by a hobby astronomer. His definition is so common these days, it’s called a second definition now.
first definition: A Blue Moon is the third full Moon in an astronomical season with 4 full Moons (versus the normal 3)
second definition: A Blue Moon is the second full Moon in a month with two full Moons.

I didn’t think of taking a photo the day before yesterday, but I’ve taken one now:

Sleep well everyone and G’day Down Under 🙂
