Troopy hospital
Today I learned how to work on my Troopy! (Troopy-nurse 😉 )
Thanks so much to the Troopy-doc!
We replaced the rear leave springs and did lots more, now it’s almost ready for the great trip!
On Thursday I’ll leave Cairns hopefully.
At the moment I’m sitting at a nice quiet place and am listening to the sounds of nature. Here are bandicoots and lizards and cicadas and there are no city-sounds, great!
But it’s pretty strange to have internet reception and no mobile phone reception!
Rainforest and bush
Yesterday I was looking a the sunrise on the sea from a hill near the beach. Wonderful! I had the luck to see three ulysses (the very blue butterflies) during driving through the rainforest.
And a lot of grasstrees in the bush when I visited a friend.
In the afternoon we went for a swim in a nice freshwater-swimminghole without tourists 😉 awesome!
christmas-feelings
Today I saw many firemen and some cops with their cars driving along the road with blue-red light, emergency-sirens, music and christmas decoration on their cars! (there were some Troopys too) Crazycrazy.. 😉
My christmas feelings are not so strong, I rather enjoy fresh pineapple and coconut! They are so delicious here!!

Good time
I had a great time, went for a coast-drive to Port Douglas, visited ‘Alexander Spirit’ an oil products tanker and bought a better roof rack for my Troop!
Alexander Spirit is a huge ship and I could even have a look at the engine, control-room and where the captain pilots the ship! The engine is enormous, but has 6 cylinders, same as my Troop 😉 but ways bigger! And all the pipelines on the ship are really impressive. That was a great experience, I’m glad i took the chance to see it.
My new roof rack has lots of space on it and i fitted the back seats on it in a way that I now have a openair-couch with best-view! I’m really looking forward to all the sunsets and stars I’m gonna see. 🙂
The coast-drive to Port Douglas was utterly enjoyable and on my way back I visited several beaches, great!
Rainbows
Yesterday I saw four wonderful rainbows, awesome!
Today is same program as the last few days: doing travel preparation..
But my car has lots more power now, its pure fun to drive it!
And I finally took some letters to the post 🙂
Moved out
Early bird (awake since 6am) moved out.. but still in town 🙂
busy day
Even though school is finished now I had a really busy day.
But that’s cool because my new home (Troop) is getting better and tomorrow the inside is going to be ready to move in! Yeah!
Thanks to my good friend and helper around the corner! You’re great!
But now I really need dinner..
Maybe I can post some pics here tomorrow or on Sunday 🙂
Exam is over
Yes!! The exam is over!!
But it’s hard to say if I did well or not, it was pretty difficult.. we’ll see.. (In the end of Jan.. 😉 )
