What an awesome place!!
So many unforgettable moments and plenty of beautiful pics 🙂
Once more I had an unforgettable time!
The Northern Flinders Ranges are so beautiful and there are a few nice 4WD Tracks 🙂 We’ve seen plenty of roos, emus, horses, cows, eagles and birds.
Even Copley was interesting, thanks to the truck drivers who took us to the coalfields 🙂
The Oodnadatta Track wasn’t open nor closed, it was “4WD only” -> Yippie!!
Now I have a new story for my grandchildren 😉
With the help of everyones gear and experience we pulled a car with trailer through a floodway (5 Snatchstrapes, 2 winchcables, Troop and another 4WD as anchor) 🙂
-> memorable!
We had a great Time on Kangaroo Island!
There’s so much wildlife to see: kangaroos, koalas, seals and even sea-lions!
The eucalyptus-distillery was worth a visit as well.
Snorkeling is great and the water so clear, we’ve seen some nice fishes!
Fishing itself was not successful.. but we had a delicious plan B for dinner 🙂
For everyone who wants to visit this island:
take at least! 4 days time and check the ferryprices before you start your journey (it’s a fair bit cheaper if you book at least one night accommodation with the ferry)
Don’t expect 4WD tracks, it’s all easy to drive, just a bit corrugated.
After a long walk to the pinnacles (in the Grampians) we had a wonderful view on Victoria, definitely worth the effort! Troopers Creek Campground could not be missed by a Troopiedriver and the McKenzie Falls were wonderful.
Wyperfeld NP has some really great 4WD sandy tracks, big fun! We were the only ones on a 80 campsite area with a wonderful clear night-sky, and we saw 20 emus and plenty of kangaroos in the morning.
Murray Sunset NP has a great landscape too and we’ve seen even goats and some new spiders.
What a wonderful area around the great ocean road!
Today I woke up with kookaburras, saw two nice waterfalls and 43 koalas and plenty more other eye-catchers!
The Great Ocean Road and Great Otway National Park is definitely worth a visit, thanks to my friends in Melton for all the good advice and the wonderful time i had there 🙂
New impressions, again a wonderful time to remember!
We’ve seen a wonderful sunset and plenty of wildlife in Australias most southest part of the mainland, Wilsons Promontory NP, (my first wombat!) and had a wonderful weekend enjoying a festival together with such a great spirit and lovely people and every day beautiful sunsets, I’ll never forget this one, it was one of my best!
Big thanks to my travelbuddy from Belgium, wish you all the best for your further travels!
