Good time

I had a great time, went for a coast-drive to Port Douglas, visited ‘Alexander Spirit’ an oil products tanker and bought a better roof rack for my Troop!

Alexander Spirit is a huge ship and I could even have a look at the engine, control-room and where the captain pilots the ship! The engine is enormous, but has 6 cylinders, same as my Troop 😉 but ways bigger! And all the pipelines on the ship are really impressive. That was a great experience, I’m glad i took the chance to see it.

My new roof rack has lots of space on it and i fitted the back seats on it in a way that I now have a openair-couch with best-view! I’m really looking forward to all the sunsets and stars I’m gonna see. 🙂

The coast-drive to Port Douglas was utterly enjoyable and on my way back I visited several beaches, great!

Rainbows

Yesterday I saw four wonderful rainbows, awesome!
Today is same program as the last few days: doing travel preparation..
But my car has lots more power now, its pure fun to drive it!
And I finally took some letters to the post 🙂

busy day

Even though school is finished now I had a really busy day.
But that’s cool because my new home (Troop) is getting better and tomorrow the inside is going to be ready to move in! Yeah!
Thanks to my good friend and helper around the corner! You’re great!
But now I really need dinner..
Maybe I can post some pics here tomorrow or on Sunday 🙂

Lighting of the Christmas Tree

Yesterday was the lighting of the Christmas Tree at the Lagoon,
It’s a huge one, between some palm trees and it has lots of lights and red christmas bulbs and a blue star as a tree topper.
They sang some english christmas songs and a lot of people took nice pictures of their family members or friends in front of the tree.
I’m going to take a photo of it this week to share it with you 🙂

4WD Training

Yesterday was a great day at Pro Drivesafe 4WD Training!
I can really recommend it!

I had big luck and the other students had no time to come to the course, so I was the only one and learned a lot!
• High speed emergency braking, emergency direction Change
• Use of recovery equipment (winching, snatch Strap)
• Many steep descents and ascents
• River crossings preparation and hazard avoidance
• Safe techniques for changing a tyre
• Vehicle handling dynamics
• Skid avoidance and control
• Stall starts and sliding control conducted on private property
• Vehicle checks, setup and maintenance
• and some theory 🙂

Last schoolday

School is finished now and I’m glad about that.
It was a great time and I learned a lot, but I want to see more of Australia now 🙂
But not yet, there’s still a big exam next week and I must study hard for that, because I really want to pass the exam!
