One way to spend a very hot day for me is to walk in the forest, which is often nice and shady. Tüfelsschlucht had just few water but it was still beautiful with the small waterfalls and the moss on trees and stones. The cliffs are huge!
I definitely have to go there again when it’s less dry (it’s a really dry summer now for Switzerlands standards).

Last week was a lunar eclipse which I watched at an astronomical observatory. One more I was just so amazed about the view through the telescopes! My pictures are not anywhere near as good as the look I got there!

Toggenburg is a lovely area of Switzerland. It has a “sound path” which lets you experiment with a variety of uncommon instruments to create a sound.
The view from the mountains is just wonderful.

One delicacy there is called “Schlorziflade”. It’s so yummy, you have to try it if you get the chance to. It’s made of some sort of cream and pear-mousse and pretty sweet.

Last week I went to see the sunrise near Matterhorn and did the “five lakes path” again. The weather was mostly great and I really enjoyed the trip. It’s definitely a must do!

On the way home the Tellsplatte carillon played its magic sound! But I’m still glad I don’t have to listen to it every hour..

Today was a wonderful day with my parents at Stanserhorn (1900m a.s.l.).
Even though there were clouds and dust, we had some great views from the mountain. The “Aelplermagronen” (a Swiss dish) were yummy and the drive on (yes we were on top of!) the “CabriO” car of the cableway was awesome!
I saw a man wearing a shirt that was printed with “Love > Hate” (Love is bigger than hate). I really like that one!
Familytime is important to me. Thank you both for that lovely day.  : )

Blausee, Greenfield-openair and Dählhölzli-zoo were nice and I had many great experiences. We were quite lucky with the weather, it didn’t rain as much as predicted.

Parkway Drive had their drummer in a turning wheel and so he played upside down from time to time! And they had a big fire show to their sound as well.
Other bands were great too (I can’t mention all of them, go and visit the next openair by yourself) and the yummy waffles with berries as a dessert deserve a special mention.

And I really like the bears, the albino racoon, ground squirrels and emperor tamarin!

A nice sunny tour from Romanshorn to Ermantingen and back was a great Idea and I can truly recommend it to everyone to try and ride a tandem with someone!
It’s fun and challenge at the same time and it can also bring you to wonderful places (including delicious food in a wonderful restaurant).

Spending a day at the airport is fascinating! We’ve seen so many different planes, did a bus-tour around the airport and got to have a closer look on the swiss air rescue service called REGA. I think everyone should support them, they really do great work!

They even had a demonstration of how rescue dogs work and how they get trained, which is stunning!
